I am thankful.............

for sunny and cool days (the Florida dream).

for living soooooo close to Disney (2.5 hours). 

for my little family and their love. This husband and these puppies of mine are the absolute best.

date nights. They come so infrequently lately, so we make the best of the ones we get.

hugs from my students. It's almost as if they sense when I need them the most.

coworkers that keep me sane.

weekly dinners with my besties. No one makes me laugh like they do.

cupcakes!!!!

books, books, books!!! Especially history books. 

blogs. I love following other people's stories. The inspiration is also incredibly amazing.

bible study. These women are so incredibly strong and full of faith. Their love of God is incredible and inspires me constantly.

thankful // vol.7

I am thankful for God' healing (because my strep is gone!)

I am thankful for cuddles on chilly nights.

I am thankful for pizza nights with good friends.

I am thankful for conversations that have me ending in laughing until I cry.

I am thankful for that light bulb moment I see in the classroom.

I am thankful for good television the helps me tune out the rest of the world for an hour or so.

I am thankful for the library and their never ending supply of entertainment (I'm such a book dork).

I am thankful for teammates that help me keep my sanity (and sometimes drive me home).

I'm thankful for my Wednesday night bible studies, because I've gotten to know some amazing and inspirational women of God.

I'm thankful for food, because duh....it's awesome. 

I'm thankful for cold days, because they remind me of how good I have it living in Florida.

I am thankful for puppy cuddles.

thankful thursday// vol 6

I promise I had every intention of not only posting last week but also in blogging this post a few days ago....... but again time got away from me (and my computer also died.....).

I've mentally been making this post in my mind though, which I really like because the whole point was to get me in that thankful spirit 24/7 and I feel like I'm closer to that goal.....

And while there are a ton of things that I am grateful and thankful for..... one of the main things that's on my heart this week is my friends. Specifically, a certain group of friends. 

I firmly believe that there are different groups of people that bring out different parts of you and your life. 

This group of besties bring out the humor and love in my life. 

They are honestly some of the best friends a girl could ask for--- they would do anything for you, because they love you. And even sweeter is that when we get together we are always finding ourselves laughing until we are crying. Literally, every time! It's so refreshing to have friends you can be totally yourself with, can make you laugh until it hurts, and have your back through anything.

 Kelly, Alexis, and Daniel..... I love y'all!!!!

thankful thursday// vol.4

Ek!!! With the holidays so close (Christmas is 2 days away!!!!!) time got away from me and I forgot to post my thankful thursday posts.....

However, speaking of the holidays.... I am extremely thankful for this holiday and all that it stands for. I am thankful for a God who loves, a Savior who was born in a manger and died on a cross so that I could one day join Him in heaven. I am thankful for His forgiveness, grace, and constant love that knows no bounds.

How could I not post about the hubby? (Ew- did I just say hubby?? Oh well). 

 This guy is the absolute best. 

I'm so incredibly lucky to have found this funny, talented, hard working, christian man- that for some reason loves me. 

  I am thankful for his support, his constant love, his advice, all the times he cheers me up when no one else can, for teaching me about new things, for pushing me, for challenging me, for making me laugh, and for being my best friend no matter what.

 I'm so lucky to have you as my husband! Love you!!

thankful thursday// vol.2

 I'm pretty sure that I have more photos of my pup than of anyone else (myself included). I can't help her amazing cuteness...but oh man, can you imagine what I'm going to be like with kids one day??!!?!

Anyway, back to my dog..... she's the cutest fluff ball and I am so extremely thankful for her. Even on days like today when I have to take her to the vet and pay for meds and annual checkups. It's such a privilege to have her and be able to take care of her. In a way, she's taken care of me too. In some of the darkest and loneliest times I've had her companionship-- which may sound silly to some, but if you own a dog, you get it!

thankful thursday// vol.1

I know- sharing something I'm thankful for on Thanksgiving....how original. But seriously, my heart could not be more full. 

I am incredibly thankful for my family. 

This past year has been a crazy one for my family. We've gotten smaller after several devastating loses, but then we grew immensely after two weddings (mine and my cousins'). 

I think about how much my family has gone through, how we've lost touch, but through the grace of God have become an even stronger unit. I thank God for the amazing women and men that I get to call family and I cannot help but smile. While not all of our families members are still with us, and some are spending this holiday hundreds of miles away, they have each had an amazing impact on my life. I am grateful for every single one of them. 

They are my heart.

Thank you God for blessing me with all these amazing people!
