orlando week (and pandora)

Last week I went down to Orlando for a training for work, so Austin and I took advantage of it and spent the weekend after in Disney.
Spending a week away from each other may not be a lot, but when you're still in the "honeymoon" phase, it feels like it. So while I really enjoyed myself at the training, I was over the moon to see the husband on Friday!
I finally stopped Disney Springs (besides just boating through it). It was awesome- especially the creamery!!!
Saturday we tried out the new part of the Animal Kingdom park, Pandora. During the day it was pretty amazing, but at night.....it's even more spectacular! I totally recommend it! I also loved the food....

No stop to Disney Springs would be complete without a Sprinkles visit... even if I was full at the time (but eating it in bed was perfection).
Remember the Pandora food I was mentioning? Austin and I tried the dessert too (because duh). The above is the Pandora blueberry cheesecake (the inside was purple)! It was interesting....but still good.

Sea World day (with my coworkers!) Such fun- even if it was rainy the whole time!

This adorable shop and it's printable bookmarks and journaling prompt sheets are pretty awesome.

If you're a feminist, or just love girl power (channeling my inner Spice Girl here) then you'll love this site and all of it's inspiration and scrapbooking story telling.

This dress in white just screams summer to me.

This dress is also on my need list.

I cannot wait for this movie to come out!!

I am totally in love with this marble kitchen island!

Okay, this entryway is what home dreams are made of!

I'm pretty much in love with this wall art. And since Austin likes it too (in an ombre theme) I'm hoping to try a version of it soon!!!

May I have one of each of these dresses? Pretty please??

In pinteresting all kinds of homes- I've decided that split level rooms are my favorite currently.... like this gorgeous home. Oh and this home too!
There is a good chance that I will either create a pinterest board for only split level houses or just make a blog post. Haha- but seriously-- that's how much love there is right now.

If you like card games and Pride and Prejudice, come play this with me!! I can't believe this is a thing--but I'm so happy it is.

A notebook perfect for summer!

I love every single one of these DIY shelves.

dinner (him vs me)

I'm just going to go ahead and put this out there. I suck at cooking. Yes, I know with practice I could get better, but let me put something else out there.... I hate cooking.  Loathe it. I will clean dishes, I will bake, but please don't make me cook!

However, with that being said, I should've known that being married would change that. (Not the liking it part, but the having to do it part).

So this week, we both took turns cooking.
 The outcome?
Well, I forgot to season the meat..... and added too much flour to the dumplings.
His meal? Perfect of course.
(above photo: me devouring the burrito he made!)

Yeah, yeah- married life isn't about competing... whatever.

But really self? You forgot to season the meat?!? I take this as a sign that I need to cook less (or I guess more...whatever...).

Austin- I think this is a sign....you should cook me dinner all the time (wink, wink)!
