*WAR EAGLE!!!!!

Every Gossip Girl episode was named after a movie title. I've only seen 40 of the 120 movies (and of course every episode of GG). How about you?

This art is absolutely gorgeous! The floral patterns might be some of my favorites! And her blog is amazing too.

Can I just say how much I want to take this e-course???

25 themed art journal ideas! Yes please.

This Valentine's Day DIY project looks awesome!!

Totally in love with every single print from this shop.

My boyfriend's mom has an amazing tea shop and boutique here in Jacksonville and it was recently featured in USAToday 10best!!!! Congrats Dana!!!

In a dream world (where I had TONS of money) this print would be on my wall.

This mug!!  And this one too!

Photos taken for the upcoming 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Having visited the camp, it gives me even more goosebumps!

This home is perfection. (It's not in english, but the pictures make it!)

Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall- song 2

Memories and music can be so intertwined in my mind sometimes. While there are times when a song plays and happy memories come flooding in, there are also times when those memories can be more somber.  This second song on my playlist has in the past brought those grim feelings, but the other day it randomly started playing and all I wanted to do was change bitter memory from a gorgeous song into a more beautiful memory. So instead, next time this song plays I plan on letting the memory of driving down A1A with Austin in his jeep on a gorgeous Saturday.

soundtrack for 2015

Ok, so I am a huge fan of music. Huge. The fact that my extremely talented boyfriend can play a gazillion instruments and is a complete badass on the guitar probably only deepens my love for music all the more.

Throughout the day songs will just randomly pop into my head or stick with me for whatever crazy reason...so then I got this idea. What if I complied them all together (and shared them here when they happened to be my "song of the day" and then at the end of the year? Then, I could look back at all the songs that have moved me, both literally and figuratively? What a great way to look back on the year and see what songs were big, new, and maybe even inspirational!

So, all you out there that might be reading this post-- I challenge you to participate!!!
Don't have a blog? Then just journal them down. Or you could make an album on grooveshark (like me) so you can see what you have at the end of the year.
I'm not going to make a certain time of the week or month to post these, just as it happens, which I hope you do too!
I hope you'll join!! And if you do, please share with me- I'd love to compare and get add to my music love list!!!!

Here's today's song.
Do You Believe in Magic

one word: magic

Last year I came across the one-little word idea.  Actually, I had come across it before that, but until last year I hadn't wanted to try (for who knows what reason). I picked believe as my word for 2014 and it really fit. There were times when I wondered if things would get better with work and I even questioned if I should still be a teacher.  Maybe it sounds cheesy to keep relying on just a word, but I took it as a motto- something that I wanted to remind myself I could do all year long in order to be in a better place at the end of it. As it would turn out, I did. I felt like even in the roughest times I believed in something better. I believed that God had bigger and better things planned for me and that belief got me to a much happier and fulfilled place (and work environment).

So when it came down to picking one little word to stand as my motto for this year, I chose magic. If last year was the first step (to believe something great would happen) then this  year is when I prove what I can do with it. So this year I'm going to make my own magic and I'm excited to see what comes from it!

Do you have one little word picked for this year?? If so, what did you decide on?

Addie Christmas photos

My friend Nicole asked me to take Christmas pictures of her family this year and since the last time was so much fun I was excited to take more. I tried to get some serious ones and then funny ones (especially since the majority of people were kids). Since it was a rainy day, we has to take the alternative route and shoot inside.  I like what we came out with!

Montisano Family Christmas Pictures

If you've been a reader of my blog for awhile, you've probably noticed that while a few babies and kids have graced this page, the Montisano babies have been frequent guest stars. I adore these boys! Their momma and my sweet friend lets me take lots (lots and lots) of photos of them! This year while taking Christmas card photos, Santa even joined in!

 See you later with more!!!

McWhorter Christmas photo session

If you follow me on facebook then you saw me post about all the family Christmas photographs I took this holiday season. It was awesome!!! I waited to share them until the Christmas cards were sent out (because who wants to ruin those??) but now that the season is over, I'm sharing some of my favorite work yet.

So first up is the McWhorter family. This was bitter sweet because they moved shortly after (which I was dreading). Lisa and her family are adorable aren't they?  And it was baby Mason's 1st Christmas!!!
 Stay tuned for more.....
